Llandaf Meadow is looking brown now
Where once there was a meadow in Llandaf
Cardiff Metropolitan University has started the process of turning Llandaff Meadow into a sports facility. These photos show that the Meadow has been fenced off and the diggers are now at work.
Campaigns on this website and on Facebook haven’t been able to save this historic ecosystem.
This is the wildflower field between the cathedral and the weir in Llandaf.

The Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society is a mixed-voice choir which sings mainly at Llandaf Cathedral. Verdi’s Requiem is the next concert, on 15 November at the Cathedral. You can buy tickets online from here.
