On 12 February 2017, The Great Wall Chinese Takeaway, Llandaf, Cardiff, closed its doors for the last time.
This is the site of Roald Dahl’s legendary Mrs Pratchett’s Sweet Shop, of course. Roald stopped here on his route home to and from the (now relocated) school on the Green home.
LlandafPost wanted to document the last days of the Great Wall with some photos which will hopefully bring back some good memories of a business which traded for 28 years in Llandaf.
